As I previously in the army a few years, wash the blanket in the washing machine always on the regular establishment of hot / cold, and anything but ordinary. No need a special detergent or something special for every user. You are quite dry, as wool does not absorb much water. It is best if you only have to dry hanging. In this way, you need not worry about too hot and make the decrease in the dryer. (You can tumble dried with cool air, if your dryer this option.) Oh, and do not need a clothing line or something like that. I used to hang in my closet door of my barracks at night and would be dry the next morning. If possible, a fan on so that it does not dry hard. Man, I love these blankets.

(fill in the washing machine with cold water on gentle cycle or in the bathtub with cold water the tub, soak for a while, shake hands regularly). Line dry. In any case, could be reduced a little, but nice and clean.

Use a mild shampoo and conditioner in the same way as your own hair. Finally, wool is the hair.
